• Only the hashes are sent to our server for matching; your raw contacts are never uploaded or stored by us
• Only available to adult (18+) accounts — never shown to teen accounts at all

📍 Nearby Friends (opt-in, 18+ only)

• Off by default — only if you actively turn on 'Nearby Friends'
• Your precise location (from your browser) is stored server-side only to calculate distance — it is never shown to any other user
• Other users only ever see a rounded distance band (e.g. '~3 km away') — never your exact location or a map pin
• Only other users who have ALSO opted in can appear as 'nearby' to you, and vice versa — never one-way tracking
• Only your most recent location is kept — no location history is stored
• Turning the toggle off deletes your stored location immediately and stops you being discoverable right away
• Only available to adult (18+) accounts — never shown to teen accounts at all
